In 2023, m-design was entrusted to design a senior citizens' centre in Krefeld for Orpea Germany. A modern care home for 80 residents was created in close collaboration. The future residents can choose their room from three categories: standard, comfort or premium, so that individual needs can be fulfilled. An overall concept consisting of furniture planning, colour concepts and lighting planning was created for the facility and was subsequently implemented. For each floor, a special theme from the region and Krefeld was incorporated into the planning. In addition to the colour schemes, the thematic references to Krefeld were taken up particularly in the wall panelling and room dividers.
